    Description

    The envelope
    is from the 10th Congress of the Association of Space Explorers (ASE) taken place in Russia in 1994. The cover was cancelled on August 9, 1994. It was the 1st day of the Congress. The opening ceremony was held on Red Square near St. Basil Cathedral. The Cathedral is pictured on the postage stamp. The cover was postmarked at the nearest post-office to the place of the event.
    The envelope was hand signed by 14 astronauts / cosmonauts, including Jack LOUSMA, Owen GARRIOTT, Roberta BONDAR, Dirk FRIMOUT and other famous Space Explorers. Autograph’s identifier is included (as on the photo).
    The signature of Jack LOUSMA on such covers is very rare.
