    Description

    1951 Pontiac Chieftain 4-door project.
    Almost completely original, with the exception of the motor. In-line Eight (presumably) has been replaced with a 1954-55 Oldsmobile Rocket small block.
    Has original "slant-pan" auto trans, about which I know nothing.
    Electrical system has been converted to 12-volt.Both of these updates were made before I acquired it.
    Has almost all original signage, with the exception of one "Pontiac Eight" chrome piece, which is present, but broken.
    Importantly though it does have everything else; all four original hubcaps, factory visor, and original factory fender-skirts.
    Also has the main event, the amber light-up Indian-Head and chrome hood ornament.
    Interior is original, with repairs needed commiserate with it's age. Rust is present on driver's floorboard.
    It is not running, but it is trailer-able.
