Auguste Mouzin & Cie Belgium AMC Commode Wash Pitcher ART DECO ca. 1878-1951. Pitcher measures 11" Tall with no chips, cracks or repairs. There is a manufacture glaze pop on inside of handle. A lovely piece for display. Originally named Auguste Mouzin et Cie in Wasmuël, Belgium, the faience factory AMC was later known as "la Faiencerie de Wasmuël" and was in activity from 1878 to 1951. It produced mainly large ornamental pieces and decorative items of fine quality ceramic. This factory was known for its Art Deco ceramics with recognizable geometric motifs. Vases, bathroom sets, and decorative pieces were among the factory regular production. Around 1910, the factory started massive production of mantel clocks.
