    Soviet Russian Air Force Gsh-6 A helmet, ring, blue wooden box.
    The helmet made in 1980s, never used.

    GSh-6 A Hermetic helmet a part of protective clothing (personal protective equipment, equipment) of a pilot or cosmonaut, which is part of a high-altitude-compensating suit and a high-altitude spacesuit.
    An airtight helmet of a special design, which gives the pilot (cosmonaut) the ability to fly at high altitudes (suborbital and orbital) when the cockpit is depressurized and ensures its survival under these conditions and during ejection. The helmet is equipped with a sight glass with a light filter that protects the eyes and face of the pilot or cosmonaut from the effects of heat and ultraviolet rays from the Sun. Inside the helmet there are telephones and microphones of the radio communication device.
    The design of the GSh-6 is quite complex and has more than three hundred parts. GSh-6 has three main separate elements: The helmet consists of a helmet with an electrically heated inspection plate, a neck ring and a pull-up system.
    In the lower part of the helmet, there is an inhalation valve and a compensated hose, which has a bayonet connector and is used to connect to an oxygen device.
