the Republic of Korea (South Korea) was aboard the International Space Station in 2008.
The flag was delivered to the ISS by the crew of the Russian “Soyuz TMA-12” spacecraft: Commander,
Russian cosmonaut
Sergey Volkov; flight-engineer, Russian cosmonaut Oleg Kononenko; spaceflight participant, South Korean cosmonaut, Yi So-yeon (Hangul:
이소연
).
On board the International Space Station the flag was marked with the “
ISS
” octagonal board seal.
